Can dogs and cats have milk and dairy?

Many adult dogs digest lactose poorly, so milk can cause diarrhoea.
CatsOnly with care
Most adult cats are lactose intolerant. Milk is not a good drink for cats, despite the old picture.
If your pet ate some: Usually just an upset stomach. Offer water and call your vet if diarrhoea lasts more than a day.
